New England Aster seeds are GMO free.  This Aster is a colorful addition to your fall garden and is a late season source for pollen and nectar. Place seeds in moist sand for 8 weeks at 40⁰ F to break dormancy, then sow seeds just below the surface at 70⁰ F. Keep moist and water seedlings until they become established and then regular watering although too much water may cause root rot. This plant is spread by rhizomes and re-seeding. Mature plants will benefit from division after two or three years.
